Agreed. Dyspo is a major threat and he tends to get underestimated because─like you said─of the situations he finds himself in. But he's fast, has quite a bit of raw power and he's physically tough. He definitely deserves the spot of third strongest of the Pride Troopers. Whenever someone downplays Dyspo I always bring up Gohan's sacrifice. It was absolutely needed because just the idea of Dyspo staying in the arena during the final minutes would have guaranteed victory for universe 11.

2025-01-24 19:29:49 +0000 UTCI disagree. I think the animation of Super is decent...even the "unimportant" scenes. My only critique of the visual display of the animation is the color choices. I prefer the "Z" color scheme. Super uses bright colors for skin tones and clothing with a dark outline....gives me videogame vibes that I'd prefer they didn't use. But I'm old school like most of you and I enjoyed OG dragonball where the animation was simpler and sometimes, simpler is better.

The last season airs this year too so it'll all be there to be viewed. I saw you guys had previously reacted to the video games so I hope there is an interest in the show. Thank you for reading.

There are people that just watch us for Genshin, Dragon Ball, Fortnite, Mortal Kombat, etc. And we enjoy variety as well. Keeping an open mind and watching new stuff is what brought us to watching Dragon Ball in the first place 🤗. Otherwise we might just have been a gaming channel that focuses solely on Mortal Kombat since that was the first franchise that really got people interested in our channel.

I know they rushed and barely had any manga material to work with but still sad to see. On the bright side at least Diama is very well animated and pls the movies of super

Some fights are too fast for him, and he asks a lot of questions. This raises a lot of questions about his position in the deity hierarchy. Recent material like Daima also seems like it’s going to elaborate on this.

They said multiple times how Dyspo got speed but his fighting technique is basic that most people could predict his movements. Gohan is a superior martial artist, despite his numerous breaks. In a closed area Gohan had the advantage.

2025-01-07 20:58:46 +0000 UTCIt’s definitely not the weakest U7 vs U11. It’s down there, but the previous episode was worse to me. At least this one wasn’t a snooze. I’m just glad we’re now done with these back to back duds, because I love all the episodes from then on. We all knew some episodes had to take a major hit so the animators could have more time to fight against the nightmarishly tight schedule and deliver on the finale.

Considering Hit was getting overwhelmed at Dyspos base form and that Dyspo was also beating Frieza many say Hit could have been eliminated by him if he wasn’t messing around. But there’s a chance that Hit could have adopted and fought back. But it’s a shame we didn’t get to see those two duke it out later into the tournament.

2025-01-07 20:53:21 +0000 UTCYes, Super Hero has visual spoilers for the RR arc, but by the time they get to OG DB, they would’ve forgotten most of the faces. The montage is very quick. I still suggest they proceed with the movie first. If someone is really concerned, we can let them know timestamps to close their eyes in. Otherwise, the movie doesn’t spoil anything except that Goku defeats the villain, but that’s not really a spoiler. It’s what happens almost every arc.

2025-01-07 20:35:52 +0000 UTCI feel like Dyspo is often overlooked because he doesn’t really get any big character-defining moments and gets himself into a lot of sticky situations this arc (i.e Hit nearly eliminating him via fake out, getting caught by Maji Kayo, having a bit of trouble with that U11 villain a while back), but you gotta give props to his power. Imagine how much of a threat he would be in a 1v1 setting w/o being able to ring him out/trap him. Would be damn near untouchable by most fighters.

Don’t get me wrong, him taking out one of the strongest Pride Troopers is incredible, and teaming up with Frieza was really fun. But this is (imo) the weakest of the U7 vs U11 episodes. Looping attack flurry animations with sliding backdrops and reused frames feel like they’re much more present than usual here. Makes sense given what’s coming up animation-wise for the rest of this arc and DBS Broly likely being in active production alongside this episode (along with other works produced by Toei). I imagine the animators must have been in beyond crunch mode. Can’t say I was as disappointed as a lot of other Gohan fans tho. Many were super letdown because he was appointed as the U7 team leader (remember that?), and thought he would’ve been a bigger deal in the endgame. Some people went as far as to predict that he would be the one to win the tournament. I love Gohan as much as the next guy, but there ain’t no way they’d give him the spotlight over Goku and Vegeta after what’s happened in this arc lmao.
