2025-01-14 20:05:03 +0000 UTCit's interesting you say that because while we admit to being casual gamers and not good, I think people tend to forget that we play a game like once a week and play multiple games and then also sometimes cross platform so it's tough to get into the rhythm of the controls and cadence of a game. Like if you are playing the same game daily or multiple times a week you pick up on more. 🤗

So we'll probably stop there and do some DLCs that we haven't seen the original versions of and just the Abridged versions. We'll return to this and keep playing because it's fun but it would probably be more sporadic....just really thinking (typing) out loud here though haha 😜

Based off what’s in it (I predicted it might end where it did), I feel like it would’ve been better to finish the Cell Saga first. But you guys gave me a reason to get back on my console and to pick Kakarot back up after a few months. Edit: Oh, so I didn’t have to play the whole thing lol. But it was good. And I probably would’ve put it off for longer.

It always sucks, like imagine how much better games would be if they had all the time in the world to develop them. It gets frustrating watching vids of unused content from other games and how awesome they looked if they had been incorporated into the final product

Definitely looking forward to the next vid, and I know for sure it's gonna have "him" up next! Btw, as I was seeing you struggle against the androids, I had a funny thought: you guys should definitely consider dressing as the androids for Halloween! Ken you've got the black hair, Beth you've got the blonde hair, perfect match and would definitely be awesome!!

2025-01-12 23:26:38 +0000 UTC31:40 I'd say that the change in the twins' outlook is owed largely to two things that the 17 and 18 in Trunks' timeline didn't have: 1) The positive influence of Android 16 and his passivism towards anyone (besides Goku or Cell). 2) Krillin making the decision to not only destroy the detonator, but also remove the bombs from their bodies. You have to remember that 17 and 18 were delinquents even before Dr. Gero kidnapped them. It's very possible that Krillin's actions were the first nice thing somebody's ever done for them.

2025-01-12 23:15:13 +0000 UTCUnfortunately this is where I think the base game’s screws start to come loose; Vegeta’s Super Saiyan transformation and subsequent beatdown of Android 19 honestly deserved more stank than a random Recoome scene if you ask me. I mean they cut out him removing his hands, which is the entire point of the Big Bang attack, since he could’ve just absorbed had he not removed them.

2025-01-12 19:24:40 +0000 UTCOne of the bigger misconceptions is that Goku forgot to take his medicine when that’s not the case. He was specifically told to take the drugs when the symptoms start appearing, and since they don’t until after they already leave for the Androids, I’d hardly call it his fault, especially since in Trunks’ timeline it happens 6 months before the Androids attack. As for Android 19’s voice, for whatever reason the games tend to be really lax on making the voices resemble how they sound in the actual anime. You’ll hear the same with Dabura but they don’t bother putting the usual filters on the characters that used them in the anime. In the anime, it’s the same VA, but the filter he has makes him sound much more robotic instead of a squealing clown voice.
