Yeah it’s probably due to Ezio’s popularity. He’s arguably the fan’s favorite assassin’s creed character. I still thoroughly enjoyed ac3 but ac2 got me into the game lol

That was one of the things I think Marvel messed up that people don't talk about (or at least we haven't heard anything about). Trying to make all their main male characters like Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark. Shang Chi shouldn't have that persona. (side tangent over haha) 🤗

2025-01-14 20:05:27 +0000 UTCThough my preference still goes to the second game, AC3 is a lot of fun and brings a number of fun mechanics and interesting environments. The maps are also way bigger than the previous games, with one of the smallest maps in the game being apparently 3 times bigger than the map of Florence we had in AC2 (though it's still a tremendous 256 times smaller than the biggest map in an Assassin's Creed game, which is the one in Odyssey). Despite the bigger size, the maps don't feel empty at all and are a lot of fun to navigate through. The gameplay in general is way more fluid than in previous games : faster climbing, smoother fighting and a general sense of always being in movement, while those things felt a bit stiff in previous games. To tell the truth, the first time I played it, I wasn't sure that I would enjoy a story that takes place so far away from previous games, both in location and time (about 250 years after Ezio's time), but I actually enjoyed it quite a lot, especially an optional mechanic that the story will introduce later (so I'll talk more about it once you reach it)
