The Legend of Korra S2:E10 Full Reaction

I love book 2 and this episode is one of the highlights for me Nothing is more devistating then that final line "What happened to my baby girl?!" JK Simmons's line delivery is pure perfection! While Book 3 is probably the best I argue Korra herself has the best arc in book 2

Seeing Uncle Iroh show up in this episode made me tear up, it's like seeing a family member you haven't seen in years. He was a great addition to this season and this episode too and giving us strong reminders to find positivity in dark times, which has been a challenge for many of us in the modern era we live in now

Yeah it does seem like Korra is flying by. We are enjoying it though. Have a feeling we will like it a lot more once Unalaq gets what's coming his way 😒

Seeing Iroh in this episode makes all the angst worth it lol. And it doesn't surprise me one bit that Wan Shi Tong (the giant owl spirit in the library) sided with Unalaq since Aang didn't exactly leave him with the best impression of the Avatar. The clown looking spirit dogs are called Shishi in the show and according to the wiki they are based off of one of the cast member's pit bulls and the animal-like guardian statues outside a Buddhist temple that one of the crew visited. Those statues look more like lion-dogs but you can definitely see the inspiration when you look at a picture of those and then look at these spirit dogs in the show. And yes, Raava is fused with Korra so Vaatu can sense here essence inside Korra. He isn't really acknowledging the human Avatar since humans aren't worth his time unless they can do something for him, like Unalaq, so he is just ignoring Korra completely and addressing Raava. Getting into the spirit world is actually really easy at this moment technically speaking because the portals are open. Unalaq had been using the one in the south pole to get in and out, which is why he could still bend. The problem would be getting to the portals since Unalaq is not the type of person to just sit back and let just anyone touch the portals. So there is a way, they just have to have the will lol. Great reaction as always! I can't believe you are already almost done with season 2!! I'm looking forward to seeing each one of your reactions to the last four episodes, the ride only gets crazier from here!

Other people have said it over the years, but this episode is a great example of it, especially when flying on Furry Foot; Jinora embodies Aang's cheerful and enthusiastic spirit more than any other character. Speaking of excitement, I knew it would be great, but the smiles on your faces upon Iroh's appearance was spectacular. Yeah, y'all didn't expect to ever the see library again, did you? Nor did you expect the professor to be continuing "spending an eternity in here." "Yeah, just climb to the top of Mordor." Yeah, we have different thoughts with this place. I keep thinking Death Mountain from Zelda. "Should've called his bluff." I don't...think he was bluffing. Unalaq isn't that kind of guy. I will say, of all the Avatar villains, Unalaq is up there for "Most Despicable." Ken's shirt, I'm sure, felt very appropriate in that moment.
