I was waiting for your guys reaction to them being templars when you said you liked haytham Last episode Lol. So for history perspective this part of Haythams story takes part during what we in america call the French and Indian war(That washington ends up starting) but the rest of the world calls it the 7 years war it was one of the first wars where a sort of world war took place

Aw. I love the shocking reveal

Jaroku Chronicles

Once you guys finished all the cutscenes, there is a short deleted monologue by the protagonist that shares their feelings after the game. I recommend watching it after you watched all the cutscenes!

So the major dividing issue between Templars and Assassins is Control vs Free Will. Templars believe mankind needs a firm, guiding hand - mainly in the form of socioeconomics but willing to use things like the Apple of Eden to directly control them- while the Assassins believe mankind should be free to find its own path. As with all organizations, we find that the Templars and Assassins we've met find their own personal truths and boundaries within those goals.

I was waiting for the Haytham reveal. It's such a good plot twist, especially since he's so morally grounded. With him, it's one of those things where I know he's one of the bad guys, but I still love this character. I like his manners, the way he handles problems, his conviction in what he's doing. But, he's still a bad guy, so there has to be a detachment from all that. As was said, you'll get answers in the next part, especially about the direction the game will take from here. Everything up to this point was just a prelude, and when you're playing the game it's a prelude that takes a good 5 or 6 hours to complete (especially because of the time it takes to move around, since the maps are so big). For example, after confronting Braddock when he and Haytham are both on horses, there's a chase scene that happens before he falls from his horse, during which you traverse the valley and see his troops getting attacked by the natives who help you ambush them. Scenes like that are a big reason why this is one of the best AC game for me, because you really get a sense of scale that you actually don't find in any other Assassin's Creed.

Don't worry it'll all be answered most likely in the next part
