Amazing reaction! I was watching some of the older character demos and I noticed that you may have missed a character called "shenhe"'s demo I'm not 100% sure though.

Remember that the nice old lady from Liyue during that quest with Yanfei, gave the Traveler a mystical Teapot that he can use as a makeshift home. The one with the big fat blue bird. It’s where the player can make any building and landscape to their liking. Custom home that most live service games have.

When it comes to beings that are not created through natural means, they usually go through a story of finding their own version of humanity. Albedo is more human than the Imposter, but is still finding it. And this quest makes us wonder if the Imposter wanted to be like him too. To take his place and be a true human. Maybe they do. Or maybe they’re just a flower monster that wants to eat people. We just don’t know at this point.

2025-02-05 00:01:50 +0000 UTCThe quest is more well regarded because it did shed some light on the creation of Albedo and the Imposter and that cliffhanger means they do plan to utilize that bit of lore in the future. It hasn’t happened yet, but maybe it’s just a matter of time. You wouldn’t be the first ones to have wished there was more of a cutscene to show it, but lore enthusiasts got enough out of this and people who have played for a long time recognize the significance of this quest and the previous quest that had Albedo in it.
