I still wish to this day that they would show Shenhe lifting the plaustrite in a cutscene or something

Just a reminder. When it says “Archon Quest”. That pretty much means “Main Quest”.

And I’m looking forward to the next part because a character that shows up is heavily related to something very Chinese

So, fun fact : this quest is actually unlocked right after you finish the Liyue Archon Quest, after you defeat Osial by sacrificing the Jade Chamber. While it is implied that some time has passed since those events, you can do it before going to Inazuma. The adepti abode part used to be so hard that I had stopped playing the game for a few years, but they've highly lowered the difficulty since then and even added a way to lower the difficulty even more if you feel like it, so it's relatively easy to go through now (you basically have to fight 2 Ruin Sentinels at the same time, and these were way harder to fight in the past).

Oh by the way, Shenhe is actually related to someone you’ve seen before. He’s actually in Shenhe’s trailer. The light blue haired boy called Chongyun. She’s his Aunt. Hence why they have those talismans. Unfortunately, the story doesn’t like to bring this up for whatever reason.

And now we meet Shenhe. One of the most revered characters in the fandom on both design and personality (or lack there of). Unfortunately, she’s also famous for not having a a lot rerun banner after this version was up. The banners are basically how you gamble for the character, and to my knowledge, she’s only been available twice including this Version. So anyone that really wanted her, but missed this version, had to wait a VERY long while. There’s no info as to why she hasn’t been available more. Maybe they were making too many characters, or maybe they wanted to bring attention to more popular characters. Either way, Shenhe enjoyers have had it really rough these past few years.

This is another example I think they missed the mark on communication in terms of voice acting. In the original Chinese version, and Japanese version, shenhe’s voice is a lot softer, but indifferent. Present it more like cold, distant but not hostile, which, in English version it was presented as if she is very hostile constantly.
