Glad you guys checked out the lore and series of these franchises. Made the interactions and meetings make more sense. A shame the game didn’t do as hot. Supposedly, if the game did excellent, we would gotten a Tekken x Street Fighter game, a sequel to this one, which would have played more like a traditional Tekken game.

The funny thing is, the 1st & 4th trailer for this game did reveal Jin was looking for Ryu, but Kazuya got to him first. But there’s no info as to why Jin was looking for him. At least not until “Tekken X Street Fighter” happens. IF it ever happens. And that’s a very big “IF” considering how badly this game sold. But he was faced against Kazuya, because they are both the first protagonists of their respective series. I prefer if Ryu and Jin interact more. Which brings to something I keep suggesting every Wednesday! The Namco Cross series I keep suggesting. Jin and Ryu do interact a bit. And it’s about as friendly as you can imagine. As well as with another fighting game protagonist, Akira from Virtua Fighter. For someone like me that has loved the characters for a long time, seeing them interact was like a dream come true.

Rufus & Zangief vs Bob & Julia Abel & Guile vs Heihachi & Kuma Raven & Yoshimitsu vs Balrog & Vega Those were the only 3 that made me laugh. And because I’m a real fan of Jin, I really like his and Xiaoyu’s interaction. Even if it is during the time he was a war criminal (still hate how they did him dirty like that in the story)

But considering Street Fighter I believe has the most culturally diverse roster since SF2, that was probably more trouble than it’s worth finding voice actors of different languages.
