I agree with Bethany, something about this current Kid Goku going Super Saiyan had a kind of badassery to him, and funny enough this is why I liked GT Goku so much in GT. And damn, Glorio with that purple lighting was badass! I do agree that Glorio probably has more up his sleeve, but like you guys, I'm pretty impressed so far! Unfortunately I got hit with some spoilers in the past, so I know we're coming up on a very good part real soon, and I'm definitely looking forward to that moment

I liked learning a lot more about the Glinds, moving forward I would probably need to use the pronouns them/they when talking about Shin and Arinsu since they are non binary. Good to see Arinsu make a small appearance in the episode, I know you've been on the edge of your seat Ken lol

Crunchyroll. They were waiting for Daima to hit Netflix, but it didn't come. With OGDB I did tell them that Crunchyroll was the only one (that I know) that has OGDB dubbed. So they got Crunchyroll to watch OGDB and Daima dub was right around the corner so, it all worked out.

It's not an absolute bloodbath, but there are a few select accounts that have decided to just be super pretentious about their opinions. It's fine to not like DBS or Daima, but the way some people talk online just makes you question how they talk to people in person is how I'll put it. I'm sure you understand.

I feel Goku vs Glorio is one of those fights in Dragon Ball that's gonna become fairly underrated as Daima gets older and people start to remember it for "those" heavy-hitting fights. Kinda like how Goku vs Cell, Piccolo vs 17, and quite a few other "smaller" fights get pushed to the side when people think back on the series.

Can I also add that Super Saiyan transformation is the cleanest I've seen in a long time. The last one was Super Broly with it's transformations. Also my legitimate first time I've heard Stephanie go SS, I only watched GT subbed.

The lore describing the birth of Glinds in this episode was adapted from some info that a few other commenters and I had brought up way back in the Goku Black arc. To recap what we said: an old Dragon Ball guidebook once explained that the Supreme Kai were of a race known as “Core People”, and were birthed from magical apple-shaped fruits that grew from a single plant named the “Tree of Worlds”. The Core People that are born from golden fruit are automatically given the title of Supreme Kai. The guidebook also mentions that evil Core People called “Evil/Demon Supreme Kai” were cast into the Demon Realm, where they could be separated from civilization. Over the years the DB community has repeatedly speculated that corrupt Glinds such as Zamasu and Degesu were going to be of these Demon Supreme Kai upon their reveal, but those predictions have never been correct. As you can see, Toriyama changed some things about this lore when writing Daima. There are separate trees that birth Glinds, and don’t seem to grow from apple-shaped fruits (and thus are not assigned jobs by fruit color). I couldn’t believe that Toriyama decided to bring this lore back when I first saw this scene. There’s so much obscure info about Dragon Ball’s world that’s only ever been communicated through obtuse means like guidebooks and interviews that only lunatics such as me tend to know. Having things like this getting to see the light of day in a main DB series is what lets me enjoy these earlier episodes of Daima.

Lore Recap Compilation 6 - Glinds are born from a tree simply called the “Glind Tree”, of which there are five. A Glind is born from one of these trees every few centuries. This is supposedly why they only need water to survive. Additionally, this process of reproduction also means that the Glinds technically don't have genders. - Glinds are not born into their position as Supreme Kai, but were given the role upon leaving the Demon Realm. Whoever gave them this position is not revealed in Daima. Perhaps Zeno or the Grand Priest? - The third Demon World’s sky remains relatively light even during nighttime due to the presence of a second sun.
