There’s a really cute meme with Shuckle in the Pokémon community. In the hands of a very good player, Shuckle can be a very good competitive Pokémon, so a certain phrase was created from this: “Don’t Fuckle with Shuckle”

Top 3 Bug types: 1. Volcarona The big moth with giant orange wings was the first Fire/Bug type Pokémon. And it is so freaking cool! Not only is it design so fire (pun intended) but it’s also the best bug type in battle. Back when it was first introduced, you could actually find a special one that was waiting for you in some ruins, so a lot of people mistook it for a Legendary Pokémon at first. When you have that sort of good first impression, you establish a very big legacy. 2. Centiskorch It’s not in this video since it was created after he was done with this series, but you will see then when you get to his Gen 8 Pokémon video. Centiskorch is basically a flaming giant centipede and it is also one of the most Fire designs for a bug Pokémon. It makes me so freaking happy the only 2 Fire/Bug type Pokémon are such fan favorites in the community. 3. Genesect The one robotic looking bug with a cannon on its back. I just like the idea of bringing a prehistoric animal back that isn’t a dinosaur. The robotization part is just a big bonus. While I don’t support the act of turning animals into robots, Genesect just looks too cool!

Speaking of bugs, has any ever told ya that the Pokémon franchise was initially inspired by its creator's (Satoshi Tajiri) childhood hobby of bug collecting? As he grew up, Tajiri's fascination with bugs shifted towards computer and arcade games. As this hobby of his grew, he would begin to write his own gaming magazine called "Game Freak", which included cheats and tips for games. As the team behind Tajiri's magazine grew, they realized they wanted to make games instead of just writing about the. Thus, the company/studio "Game Freak" as we know it today was formed. As an adult, Tajiri began to realize that urbanization had begun taking place in his home city. He believed this meant that future children would not be able to interact with bugs and nature as he did. So, Pokémon was conceived as a game where kids could collect and trade creatures with each other through their Game Boys.

What the heck?! 4 Pokémon videos in a row?! Like I’m really happy you’re looking at more of them now, but is it because you’re considering playing a Pokémon game soon?
