Bethany and Ken

We maybe possibly figured out how to swap sub classes since this video. No promises as we're no experts but we were trying to play around with different things. 😬

Bethany and Ken

they never learned how to swap out their prismatic stuff and probably aren't familiar with ability swapping whatsoever. iirc in the 2nd episode or something when the popup to swap out prismatic abilities showed up for the first time, there was a cut. i think they might've taken a break and just accidentally bypassed it when they came back

huh really

I know what they are using. Why not just switch to void if they are gonna use anything but that. Did they not unlock any of the other subclasses?

Reggielacey22

They are using prismatic think they just got used to those abilities

You guys are pretty good so far. But be warned, the last third of the campaign will get harder. Remember to keep using your abilities, especially when you activate Prismatic. You have a pretty good Scout Rifle, just remember you can always change your weapons based on how close or how far the enemies are. Now imagine playing the campaign on the hard difficulty.

Blake Mitchell

No that was empowering rift

ViciousBlackout 9

uh no, they definitely have healing rift on already

Sharktronic

Any reason they are just using void. That defeats the purpose of prismatic

Reggielacey22

Heres a tip, when you activate prismatic you get a new grenade ability. Just to keep in mind.

Rutabaga

It was way better when they just reacted to destiny πŸ€£πŸ’―

I noticed that you guys have empowering rift on your warlock. There’s an option to select healing rift which will help you guys a lot if you need to recover health if you’re playing on playstation hold circle and your rift will activate hope that helps ya

So one thing you guys should work on is inventory management. You want to clear all of your weapon and armor inventory of weapons and armor that are lower in power level than the weapons or armor you have equipped. If you get gear that is higher than what you have equipped, put it on. However, if you have a legendary (purple) or exotic (yellow) gear that you like and don't want to get rid of you have gear that is of higher power level than it, you can bring it up to that power level if you get upgrade modules as you complete these missions. To do so, inspect the legendary or exotic gear you want brought up, go down to the bottom left of the weapon or gear's menu and there will be an option bring them up to a higher power level with gear that is higher, but you can only do if you have gear that is a higher power level and you can only bring up legendary and exotic gear. If you want more info I recommend looking at videos online about upgrade modules, how to use them, and what kind of gear you can use them on. Another tip I would add is, don't be afraid you use your super on large groups of enemies. I would also say keep the healing rift on for the warlock and not the empowering rift, since you guys are still new players and I would recommend when putting down the rift, to never put it down in the open. Always put it down behind cover because if there are enough enemies or strong enough ones, they can damage you faster than the rift can heal you. You also need to work a little more on shooting while moving, especially against powerful enemies, but it's showing some improvement. Something else to note, when you are glyph touched that simply means you have killed the glyph keeper, you don't need to touch the glyph symbol they drop, it's simply there to tell you which glyph symbol to nullify. A few notes when it comes to prismatic, if you used up your prismatic and you shoot enemies that can only be damaged with prismatic, it will fill up your prismatic meter, which you can activate at any time anywhere without having to stand in the prismatic well, if your prismatic meter is full and don't be afraid to use your prismatic grenades as they recharge every 10 to 15 seconds. Something to note as a warlock, when activating your jump ability, you can also deactivate it so you don't overshoot any landings like you guys did during that one part when you were navigating that snowy mountain you had to climb. Something else to note, if you look at our ghost when he speaks to us at the beginning of the video, you can see his shell is cracked all over, that's due to the Witness's control over the traveler in its attempt force its will on it and from its attempt to try and kill him. Also, I feel your pain Ken, that room with the Hydra was frustrating to beat on the first run. I'm a Destiny player with 10 years of experience, but I feel you because I played the story on the legendary difficulty where every enemy is 10 power levels above you at all times, so I feel you, but it was satisfying to beat it as I'm sure it was for you as well. Overall, good gameplay, you guys are doing great, and don't worry about any of the negative comments.
