I'm pretty ok with this training arc, but I'm definitely looking forward to the arc after this one, definitely one of my favorites in the series

2025-04-04 06:38:14 +0000 UTCSpeaking of that short fight goku and krillin got into, I gotta say I absolutely love the fights in OG dragonball. Sometimes in DBZ, Super, GT, a lot of the fights feel like big muscly men shooting power blasts. That's not to say there aren't some very good fights in those shows but in OG dragonball as you'll see in future episodes, a lot of the fights are based on martial arts and the choreography is very well presented without a big reliance on ki blasts thus a lot of the best fights in the entire franchise are in OG in my opinion.

2025-04-04 03:07:19 +0000 UTCI kinda forgot how this episode ended talk about Karma😂& FYI if there's any confusion. Krillin is not riding the nimbus with Goku he was just holding onto Goku. Which is why he said to Goku "if i let go of you i will fall through this cloud" he said that in episode 15.

Proceeds to crack every bone in his body doing basic muscle stretches. Hit the halfway mark, and I always forget how quickly these go by when watching them with you. "Being a suck up." Actually, that one's a cultural difference, from what I've seen. Juniors and subordinates commonly pour their superiors more alcohol at drinking parties in Japan (take what I say in this regard with a grain of salt, as this is just based on frequently seeing it in a loooooot of manga).

2025-04-03 19:26:10 +0000 UTCFor the record, the scenes with Roshi and Launch while Krillin and Goku are out searching are exclusive to the anime so the episode can fill its time slot. In the manga, Roshi is always outisde when Krillin returns to him. This moment was supposed to be an honest test for the two boys, and not just an excuse to get them out of the house.
