We are looking forward to watching it this Sunday and plan on viewing it week to week. How fast we are able to turn out our reaction to the community will simply be a question of editing and uploading time.

Oh yeah, just realized next Sunday is when Season 2 will begin. You two gonna be watching it as it comes out week to week?

The Rat King is the only thing from TLOU to actually scare me a bit. When it comes to movies, books, or video games, I find it difficult to get scared by things that can be killed fairly simply. Since the infected can easily be killed if you know how to sneak up on them, they aren't that scary to me. Bloaters and Shamblers are a little more intimidating, but they're not too bad if you know how to keep your distance. Before I played TLOU 2 last year, I had heard of the Rat King over the years since the game's release. However, I only knew of its name and that it was dangerous. When I found out that it was this massive abomination that was shockingly quick for its size and had the strength to charge through walls, hoo boy. The shock wore off as the fight dragged on, but it was still cool. Since the first season seems to not cover any of Abby's story segment, it's unlikely we'll be seeing this big guy in Season 2. When we do get to it, though, I trust that it'll be quite a marvel.

1:54:29 This new variant of the infected is known as a "Rat King". It's comprised of a combination of Stalkers, Clickers, and a Bloater. Nora's comments suggest that it's made up of people who were among the first to get infected in Seattle, meaning it's been developing among the spores for more than 25 years. Guess you could say that this might be the only time we see a Rat King, given what it took to make this one. The Rat King is based on a rare natural phenomenon of the same name where rats or mice get entangled together when their tails entwine after being covered in a sticky substance. Feel free to look it up if you have a strong stomach.
