Genshin Impact Raiden Shogun Part 2

Commenting again on this, and I don't know if anyone else has mentionned it under another Genshin video, but I've just learned that a situation has been going on for the past month with the English VAs for Genshin. Basically, SAG, the union that some of the cast are a part of, has declared a strike nearly a year ago to protest the use of AIs, which makes every union member unable to work. It resulted in some non-union VAs refusing to work, which led to one of the Genshin VAs being replaced (I had noticed that there was a significant lack of voice lines for his character but didn't know about the situation). The new VA that was cast for the character was unaware of the whole strike situation, so he got to work right away, but some of the union members started harassing him, calling him a "scab" who "likes to take advantage of a situation". The most vocal members have been Keqing's VA, Paimon's VA, and another VA for a character that you haven't seen yet in the story. Paimon's VA, in particular, has been extremely toxic in the past few days, refusing to admit that she was wrong, and instead doubling down on her words, going as far as saying "only my opinion matters, nobody else's", so the community is currently heavily rooting for her to get replaced. It most likely won't affect your cutscene journey if it does happen, at least not until you've finished Natlan's story.

This whole situation is a centuries-long bootstrap paradox (a self-contained paradox that resolves itself within its very loop, instead of relying on an external force to stop it from happening). The whole situation with the ghosts and the rift-hounds wouldn't have started without the Sacred Sakura roots' ability to capture memories and release them way after, and if it had not happened then Ei wouldn't have confronted the Raiden Shogun, defeated her and planted the seed for the Sacred Sakura to bloom. The plane of Euthymia's unique properties are the only reason why this became possible in the first place, since it's out of time, and out of reach from erosion. Time, in the Genshin universe, works in a different way than in reality, though I'm not yet sure what would count as story spoilers and what wouldn't so I'll refrain from saying too much. There are things that I've learned about the lore that could be related to outside media, or even require you to read in-game books, but I don't know the source for each of them.

erosion(memory loss/decaying over time) is a reality that all 7 archons decide to face differently for better or worse. If u pay attention each region spells out how that archon or regions culture fights back againt's erosions effects by the end of them

i was waiting for the epic battle but they didn't show it in the video :(

46:08 Well, you might want to rewatch the 2.5 version trailer since you have the context now and to understand that the puppet Raiden Shogun was very extreme during the final battle with us, because that's the thing with cutscene journeys, they skip fights so your wish is understandable because without it, there is some intensity missing but rewatching the trailer might at least give you an idea because some time (2 years) has passed.πŸ˜πŸ‘
