I played FF7 (OG and Rebirth) but never got past OG (love the game, i just suck at keeping focus with older games for whatever reason) but I loved Rebirth. I do play FF14 but that's more like a theme park of other FF games (and I fuckin' love it). FF16 was the first true standalone (hope I'm using this right) FF game I played and my GOD. I am a FF fan forever.

2025-04-16 17:12:01 +0000 UTC7:06 These big birds are Chocobos, one of the few staples that appear commonly across most mainline Final Fantasies. They were first introduced back in FF II, which came out in 1988. Get used to seeing them. Next to Moogles (which you'll be seeing soon), they're the closest thing the franchise has to a mascot. Though I must say, the level of violence that gets inflicted onto them in FF16 still remains a tad jarring to me. Most of the franchise isn't M-rated, so this is the first time we get to really see them be injured so severely.
