I cannot recommend Violet Evergarden enough. 13 episodes, BEAUTIFUL animation and a story to match. Holds a special place in my heart. When I was adapting to civilian life after 9 years AD I was having a hard time, I was not into anime at the time but a battle of mine recommended it. Got to say it captures that feeling really well. I recommend watching it Dubbed as its fantastic. The dub is modern, professional and great. Plus it has Videls VA. 😁

Rinnzu Rosendale

i would love to see you react to the saint seiya show after Fullmetal Alchemist, it goes into more detail from the fighting game you reacted to previously. Or after whatever you have next in line. It's on Crunchyroll btw

Joshua Strickler

Frieren, I aside. I think Spy x Family or Chainsaw Man would be good, too. Those are some of the popular anime I’ve seen “recently.” I’ve been trying to tackle the more well known shounen, but haven’t been on top of it.

k c

I can do Frieren, as well.

k c

Will you guys ever check out adult swim stuff like Rick and Morty if you haven't already?

REDE

I think he preferers subbed.

REDE

You guys would love Frieren. It's a new fantasy anime from last year and has 28 episodes.

Ignat10

While not necessarily a show and maybe won't fit this criteria for this, I at least wanted to mention this to put it on the radar. Epic: The Musical with animatics. It's a musical based off of Homer's The Odyssey and is broken up into 9 sagas with a total runtime of roughly 2 and a half hours. From what I've gathered from other channels, the creator of the music, Jorge doesn't go after reaction channels as he likes seeing people watch and enjoy his work.

Akio Senpai

You know how to sell it. Is it about the actual mob? That would be sweet.

Bethany and Ken

Are you trying to traumatize them lol.

REDE

They already watched it.

REDE

ONE PIECE LIVE ACTION. Its only 8 eps

Morokei

- Common Side Effects (Adult Swim animated show - less than 15 episodes) - DanDaDan (12 Episodes, English Sub or Dub is good though I prefer subbed) - Eighty-Six (Anime, 24 Episodes, English Subbed preferred) - ChainsawMan (Anime, 12 Episodes, English Subbed preferred though I heard it has a decent dub)

Vishawn_

You guys should watch dead fantasy 1-6 its only 35 mins long. Its characters from final fantasy and dead or alive fighting each other in one setting. It was made by the creator of RWBY and its nothing but straight fighting. No talking or anything. You guys should like the choreography.

DarkUchiha

OOOOO How bout Mob Psycho 100 its a great "starter" anime with a really good dub. Its made by the same guy who did One Punch Man and has a really good dub.

REDE

Spy X Family I guess? 30 some episodes, It's pretty much the shortest series I like...All of my favorite series are reaaally long

Serpent King

Next Hype series you guys should watch after Dragonball should be Solo Leveling. It's very popular right now with Season 1 & 2 having 13 episodes each and our main character is so COOL!!😭 THE STORY OF THE WEAKEST HUNTER BECOMEING THE STRONGEST

Soul Tiger

We have a limited amount of space on Patreon for videos so when we finish a series and it's up on YouTube then we delete it from Patreon to free up storage. 🤗

Bethany and Ken

Oh its for sure a playthrough for Mass Effect since the choices are important and carry over from game to game 😀

Bethany and Ken

We've actually already decided that will take Invincible's spot. 😁. Been on our radar as multiple people have suggested it was up our alley with the humor and fighting.

Bethany and Ken

That's coming after Invincible. Should be getting into it heading into Season 3. 😊

Bethany and Ken

Hmm, maybe something for us to check out on Pokemon Sundays once we are done with Lockstin's vids 😊

Bethany and Ken

Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer are on our radar for sure. But will be in polls for longer shows that are twice a week reactions

Bethany and Ken

That falls under the 20ish rule actually. 🤗

Bethany and Ken

I'm excited for Ice Queendom personally. It was an interesting alternative to the story and the animation was so cool

Yuma Nanami

What's happened with the DBZ kakarot playthrough

Alias Liam

I'll save my suggestions for when you are able to take on a bigger show since I can't think of anything that is 20 episodes or less. If I do end up thinking of one I'll edit this comment.

Lady RedShee

Oh almost forgot, maybe the Nier Automata anime could work as well. It’s an adaption from the video game so you guys could check out the game or the anime instead as a alternative.

Ash

I’ll leave my opinions since maybe it can be checked out. Some shows that have been recommended include Unlimited Blade Works, Kaiju No.8, and X-men 97. Most of the shows I would like to recommend are like 30+ episodes so I’ll stick to some shorter ones. Future diary was really popular back in the day, though it is about 26 episodes long. A really shorter anime would be Tokyo Ghoul (inspired by the fact that a character from the show was recently added to Dbd). Specifically the first season only since the following season is not canon and the third season is cannon but cuts a lot of material from the manga that it could be considered it’s own thing. The first season stands pretty well so I believe it’s worth it. The last one would be the Danganronpa anime. Though I will say the game is superior the anime is a decent adaption of it. These are all rather niche so I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Ash

I think Unlimited Blade works is a great choice. They don’t necessarily have to check out the movies (since they are looking for a shorter show and 27 episodes may be already pushing it, and since UBW has a pretty solid ending).

Ash

I would love for them to react to the intros but the problem is that JoJo is famous with spoiling the show with the intros. I mean most anime intros do that but JoJo especially especially since most of them change depending on what’s going on in the show. I think waiting for them to eventually check out the show would be better, even if it takes a while.

Ash

Akame ga kill has 24 episodes and it is a solid and fast paced watch. i know it's on hulu.

Dalton

some good anime to check out Kaiju No. 8 - 12 episodes so far season 2 coming soon Fate/Zero - 20 episodes Fate/ stay night unlimited blade works - 27 episodes and 3 movies (Heaven's Feel movies) Fate/Apocrypha - 25 episodes assassination classroom - 47 episodes {complete} Spy x Family - 37 episodes Overlord - 52 episodes (13 per season) and a movie Saga of Tanya the Evil - 12 episodes KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World - 31 episodes and one movie

Triedge101

Looking forward to the mass effect series if its a playthrough, itll be a bit iffy for a watchalong as theres a bunch of choices you can make that will impact the storyline and its tough to fit in a watchalong. For a short series Id recommend Star Trek Strange new worlds, its a newer star trek series thats on 20 episodes currently with season 3 coming soon. It follows the story of Captain Pike the captain of the USS Enterprise the captain before the infamous Kirk of The original Series. I hope one of these days you guys take the leap into the Star trek universe though im sure some will disagree especially with the modern stuff.

Knight Spearhead

1997 berserk would be an interesting watch

Eric burton

Man. Everyone suggesting shows that are 3 seasons or longer. For a short series, I’d suggest Fooly Cooly (FLCL for short)

Vincent Ortiz

MASS EFFECT - Best Game Trilogy Of All Time. (Yes even 3, despite the ending).

Mosh Mia

I'd like to recommend Neon Genesis Evangelion again. It's not quite 20 episodes or less but it's only 26 episodes plus the movie End Of Evangelion. It's a little different to the usual shows y'all react to but I promise it's totally worth it. Lots of action, great characters, a sometimes confusing but amazing plot. Very emotional at points too. Couldn't recommend it more.

Shawn Waldrop

Yu Yu Hakusho is a solid choice after Diama

Vance Roberts

This isn't a suggestion to replace Daima's slot but you guys should eventually watch the Openings for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Even if you don't check out the series Jojo's has some of the best openings in anime.

REDE

please remove ahsoka that shits ass imo.

REDE

One Punch Man is a solid one, the dub is pretty good and its similar to db being a fighting centered action anime.

REDE

I agree with many of the suggestions in the comments section. I don't know how strict you want to be with the criteria of a show with one season, that is complete (so far), and have 20ish episodes. But I'll list some things that might be good. Halo Legends (2010) Yasuke [Netflix] (2021) Kaiju No. 8 (season 2 coming this year) X-Men 97 (Season 2 coming next year?) Live Action: Wednesday [Netflix] (season 2 coming this year) Welcome to Chippendale [Hulu] Firefly [Hulu or Amazon Prime] Ahsoka [Disney Plus] Since somebody mentioned Gurren Lagann, should I add in "Kill la Kill"?

Blake Mitchell

I've suggested it previously, but 86 is a great show. 24 episodes about a society where if you're not from a specific ethnic group, you get sent to the frontlines as cannon fodder against enemy mechs. Great writing, directing and soundtrack.

Toastieman

I recommend The Promised Neverland. It's only 12 episodes long (yes it has a second season you can watch but it's not really necessary since it wasn't made accordingly to the original) but this show is really impactful. Also Black Lagoon is a classis with a great dubbing

shimsho

Cowboy bebop, samurai champloo, death note

nicolas nesmith

Yesss looking forward to FMAB!! Gonna watch your FF16 playthrough at some point, but I want to beat the game first lol! And as for Daima’s successor, I can think ok 2 great picks: One Punch Man (whom you’ve seen a Death Battle of way back)—24 episodes split between 2 seasons (and a third one is coming out at some point this year) Solo Leveling—very popular as of recent, 24 episodes split between 2 seasons just like One Punch Man Whatever you guys choose at the end of the day, I’ll definitely be on board to watch 😎

J Sal

Chainsaw Man is another good anime it's only 12 episodes. Gurren Lagann is a classic and it's only 27 episodes

Enchiladas

I recommend You One Punch man has 24 episodes in total, it has Nice animation

Fabio

Pokemon Origins is only 4 episodes and isn't connected to any other Pokemon anime maybe that? It quickly covers the first generation Pokemon games

Enchiladas

Dan Da Dan is currently sitting at 12 episodes, but Season 2 I believe starts in the summer. Very funny (and sometimes emotional TToTT) anime that revolves around the paranormal. Can't wait for FMAB to kick off!

Ceeneon

Frieren: Beyond Journeys End is a 28 episode anime set in a fantasy world after the heroes have completed their main quest. It's a quiet, melancholy anime following an Elven mage who due to her immortal lifespan, reminisces about the past while training a mage apprentice and travelling the land. Honestly such a standout show from last year and such a breath of fresh air compared to fast paced, action heavy shows

Knightlight 1414

I'm agree, what a short and epic show

Fabio

Yes samurai champloo for sure. Best samurai anime without 50+ episodes. Music, fighting, comedy and animation is really good. Beware it’s a gorey dark fun time anime.

Yoshitsune92

Oh man Demon Lord 2099, Dandadan, Beserk 1997 or the Golden age memorial edition either is fine both really good ways to experience beserk, Chainsaw man and maybe even some Studio Ghibli movies you guys would love them. Jujutsu kaisen is maybe in the running perhaps a bit too long but still a great anime to get into DEMON SLAYER! I feel I'm obliged to reccomend you this incredible anime Love you guys more from me coming soon ❤

Fried T

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood reaction are about to be so good. It’s a rare find to see someone go through that show for the first time.

Kami_Psy

I know this is a long shot and it’s 26 episodes, but I would absolutely love for you to react to Gurren Lagann it’s my favorite series of all time and has an amazing dub and is regarded as one of the best anime shows ever made for having awesome animation, characters, story and fights. It would be a great introduction to the mecha genre and is a must watch in my and many other opinions. Its on Netflix, Hulu, and Crunchyroll at the moment 🙏

seels

Yessss, I can't WAIT for the FMAB reactions! Ya'll are gonna love it. As for a shorter series... How about... Mayyyybe you'd like KDramas? Bloodhounds? If not, how about ... Dandadan? (12 episodes and second cour/season starts June) MASHLE? 👀👀👀👀 (2 seasons but only 20+ episodes total) Sakamoto Days? (11 episodes, second cour happening later)

Multxverse

"20 episodes or less." I'm breaking the rules, but I'll throw Sonic Prime out there, again, at 23 episodes.

DementisXYZ

I'm so excited for Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Such an amazing anime.

Tyler McDonald

20ish episodes, huh? Well shit, Cowboy Bebop's got my vote then lol. However, I'd also like to recommend Samurai Champloo, Space Dandy, and Carol and Tuesday, which were all directed by the same guy (Shinichiro Watanabe) that are also around 20ish eps. Guy hasn't made a single thing I've disliked.

JT

Samurai Champloo is around the same length as cowboy bebop and directed by the same guy. Very great anime with a lot of style to love

Mr. Champloo
