If you don't remember, we met her back during the Red War of Destiny 2 when we were looking for Cayde and she helps us out, and in return, we help her find the remains of her crew and study the landscape on Nessus and overall just provide her company considering she had been alone for at least 500 hundred years after her crew died. She is one of my favorite characters in the franchise so I'm glad she got an entire episode. I was actually giddy when Ikora told us we were meeting her again at the beginning of this episode, and they really did her character justice because we got to see more of her personality. As for what Saint meant when he said he was a copy of a copy of a copy, in our main timeline, Saint-14 died at the hands of the Vex. With the Help of Osiris back in Season of the Dawn and a piece of experimental tech called the Sundial, we were able to travel back in time and intervene, preventing his death, this would inspire him to keep going as he was already losing hope that all his fighting would be for nothing. He would later emerge from the Infinite Forest on Mercury after spending centuries in there battling the Vex and even crashing one of their timelines. He said he kept going because we showed him what the future held and that gave him the motivation to keep fighting for Humanity and the Last City.
