That was me with the height check. You're welcome. And yeah, he’s gonna have to date exclusively, Asian women, Indian women, or even Native American women. Particularly Filipino since the average height for women is 4”10

It’s illegal to use alchemy to create or replicate money that’s one of the taboos along with trying to resurrect human life.

Dorian Cantu

Thank you SO much for this!!!

Bethany and Ken

So there is a method by which alchemist created money could be traced and the original creators identified, that's helpful to know.

Bethany and Ken

Haha, hadn't thought about that but fair point! 😂

As nice as it would be to remember my shopping list... I don't want to remember *every* *single* shopping list for the rest of my life...

I could've sworn that FMAB mentions that law about transmutating gold later down the line. I never saw past the first three episodes of 2003 or looked up anything after watching FMAB, yet I still remember that law being discussed (even if just briefly).

Ed said the withdrawal came from his “research grant” account. That’s funding he receives from the government as a state alchemist for the purpose of furthering his research and experimentation so the state can make use of any breakthroughs or developments he makes in his field. The question this naturally leads to is, why is the government investing into an alchemist whose only research is self-serving? As far as transmuting money, there are three laws that alchemists are forbidden from breaking, one of which is to never transmute gold (and by extension other forms of currency) due to the impact it would have on the economy. That’s covered by an early encounter in the story you unfortunately didn’t get to see. See, Brotherhood is the second anime. The first anime from 2003 eventually diverged from the original manga storyline, and Brotherhood rushes through most of the early material that the first anime adapted properly. The short storyline in which they discuss that law was completely cut out. How many human sacrifices to make a philosopher’s stone? Good question, I’ll answer it with another. How big do you want the stone to be? Heheheheh.

Hell Yeah Gaming

Alchemy leaves behind traces and marks on objects so making money would probably fool people for a while but they would definitely get caught eventually and go to jail.

1:39 A translation for the intro's song? I gotchu: I still a long life ahead to erase these feelings. I just want to redo everything I've left undone. I was meant to be chasing after my dreams yet on this winding road I can only stumble over others. "Just like back then" doesn't mean I want to go back. I'm simply searching for the sky I lost. I pray that you understand. Please stop that sad expression, as if you're the victim now. The consequences of sin don't end with tears. You have to suffer and carry that burden forever. I'm lost in a maze of emotion. Who am I waiting for? I wish I could spit out my true feelings. As if writing in an empty notebook. Is what I'm running away from that thing called "reality"? "I'm living on to fulfill my dreams" The urge to shout out wells up. (Can you hear me?) I can't just take the easy way out anymore. (I have nowhere left to go back) I'm always in debt to the kindness around me. That's why I want to grow stronger. (I'm on my way) Even this nostalgic pain is something I welcome. Here's a video if you want the song and lyrics side by side. No spoilers in it: https://youtu.be/FM3aJQzqV90?si=DDmY2AHZpTOH1doZ
