A (Hopefully) Bright Idea for Professor Potter

TL;DR: Thinking about adding expies (character ripoffs from other settings) to Professor Potter. Is this something you would be interested in? Vote below!

So first things first, the next chapter of Professor Potter is already written and slated to come out tomorrow so get hyped for that!

But also, I had this idea and I need to know if it's a good idea or not. Basically, way back at the start of Professor Potter I'd already decided that all of the Hogwarts Faculty was going to be female for obvious reasons. I made a vague mention of this in an early chapter when Harry was at the Faculty Table in the Great Hall without going into too much detail because I hadn't fully decided who was going to be on the Hogwarts Faculty yet or not.

Then I had the thought... why not mix in character expies from outside of Harry Potter to make a truly hot faculty roster for this story. And where better to get a bevy of beautiful witches then the Witcher series? And also DC because why not.

Now I should be clear, I'm wholeheartedly stealing this idea from Shiro's A Sorcerer's Ambition. If you haven't read that yet, I highly recommend checking it out. I also want to be clear, these characters will be worked into the HP Universe, not actually ripped from their own universes entirely. They will be characters who always existed in the HP world and thus not completely the same as the characters they're ripped from.

That said, I don't want to kill Professor Potter as a story, so I figured I'd pass along the buck to all of you guys, my estimable patrons. Would this be something you might want to see?

To give a bit of an example, here was the rough draft of the Hogwarts Faculty with just HP characters:

Defense Against the Dark Arts: Harry Potter

Charms: Apolline Delacour with Fleur Delacour as Assistant Professor

Transfiguration: Minerva McGonagall

Astronomy: Aurora Sinistra

Arithmancy: Septima Vector

Hospital Wing Matron: Poppy Pomfrey

Hogwarts Librarian: Irma Pince

History of Magic: Lady Zabini

Ancient Runes: Bathsheda Babbling

Muggle Studies: Charity Burbage

I'd probably try and sexify them up, but I know it can be hard for readers to find anything arousing about certain characters from the Harry Potter franchise. Even if I link sexier actresses and say "this is what this character looks like" I still get a lot of people who just can't separate them from their movie portrayals.

That said, here is a very tentative, not finalized list of Hogwarts Faculty if I went ahead and added in Witcher, DC, and Marvel expies instead.

Astronomy: Emma Frost with Jean Grey as Assistant Professor

Arithmancy: Zatanna Zatara with Raven as Assistant Professor

Now, the names up above don't have to be final. I especially can't say for certain that I put everyone in their proper spot.

In fact, I'd love to hear suggestions for either rearrangement of characters into different teaching positions, or replacements to any of the lesser known characters. I'm really only set on the big names, and more than willing to replace some of the Lodge of Sorceress nobodies with more exciting and more popular female characters that I didn't think of.
