1 week animation loop challenge - day 2

hey there! writing pretty late to yall tonight - but I got a lot done today! today I finished all the digital animation and have already begun construction on the miniature set for the loop. which is better progress than i expected :3

taking the sketch from the night before, I started by animating the jerking off loop. which was pretty simple. but to make it easier for myself I actually recorded myself jacking off for animation reference haha. I have a crazy job making art for a living and I think its pretty funny that I jerk off as a part of my job sometimes. anyway, i first finished this clip here

then after delivering some etsy orders to usps I worked on the rest of the animation taking it piece by piece. I could animate it all at once but it helps me to break each body part/moving bit down into their own pieces so I dont have to think about so many things at once. not a whole lot is moving in the animation tho so it was really easy. I animated some headbobbing and then animated the pee! the loop is 6 frames long, and an additional 6 frames for when the pee stream lowers a bit for a moment. I wanted to add that so that the loop feels a bit more natural feeling. Its imperfect tho - id have the pee stream hold lower longer if it wasn't gonna cause me to have to create a bunch more extra paper frames. Gotta compromise a bit for time and for the medium! anyway when i recreate these frames on paper, I will just have to make 12 total. heres how it all came out! i find this really hot actually haha so im excited see how the final result will eventually look

after the animation was done I started some work on the set itself. Just started gluing together some poster board in the shape of what I needed and what would show up on camera. just needed the floor and corner of the room as well as the wall that is off to the right in the shot



then I started briefly working on the props going inside in the shot - i only just started messing with clay, roughly making all the pieces I would need to bake for a radiator which I will continue working on tomorrow



tomorrow the set should be coming along pretty well! excited to show the progress when I work on it some more
