Amazing news
Added 2022-08-25 12:17:05 +0000 UTCI've known this for a while. My good friend Timbo (hands down best mocapper around) has been on a mission. Getting finger tracking to work. He did it and it looks crazy.
There is still work to be done on actually recording this but they are close to making it work. It's just a matter of time. This is another level of immersive. It works great. Timbo is so excited. We all are.
I thought he was crazy and he would not be able to pull it off. The dude did it and soon we will have full hand tracking in VR. Touching will be on another level

Hehe.. I did that in a previous game company 12 years ago. Whatever rotation the first joint does, apply it to the last 2 to keep it simple. It was a first-person shooter so it's always visible and we only tweaked about 2% of the animations.
