Vibe Check: Peter Parker's New Groove
Added 2022-11-06 15:25:29 +0000 UTCHey guys, half a year ago I did one of these Vibe Checks for The Sleeping Dragon, and ever since I've been wondering if I should just bite the bullet and do one for every single one of my eight currently running Patreon Exclusive Stories.
Consider this the first of eight, with each taking place right after the story has updated over the next two weeks. If you missed the latest chapter of Peter Parker's New Groove, make sure to go read it!
Now, these won't each be identical to one another. For instance, Playing the Game is already nearing the end of it's natural life span, so that Vibe Check will be more focused on what comes next.
That said, this one is gonna be pretty standard. Are you guys currently enjoying Peter Parker's New Groove? Are you enjoying Peter as a protagonist still?
Or has it all gotten stagnant and rote and you want a change of some sort?
For instance, an idea of what might replace Peter Parker's New Groove could be a Mutant OC story more focused on the X-Men, but with plenty of other Marvel characters as well. It'd probably still be a Harem Fic, but no longer with Peter as the focus but a completely OC character.
I didn't used to think OCs were all that popular or good, but considering my Star Wars story A Perverted Galaxy Far Far Away somehow became my most popular Patreon Exclusive, I'm opening my eyes to the idea more and more.
If done right, I think an OC would do well in the Marvel Universe. But obviously, I want to know what you guys think.
THAT SAID: The above is just a single idea off the top of my head. I cannot confirm that it would be the actual new story to replace PPNG if you guys voted to wrap it up.
Please vote for one of the two options down below so I know what to do with the Marvel slot going forward.
Also happy for all feedback in the form of comments on PPNG. What do you like about it? What do you dislike about it? How do you think I can improve in the future, whether it continues on or gets replaced by a new Marvel fic.

I really like this series but I do understand people wanting it to be wrapped up for something else to take its place. Perhaps some sort of in between where PPNG isn't a weekly thing but something every 2 to 3 weeks, with a newer series being weekly. Just an idea

As far as a long form story with a female protagonist, I'm just not sure it would be popular enough tbh. Even if the idea of Wonder Woman enjoying her defeat fetish with a ton of guys is hot to me, I think the majority of readers prefer a male protagonist they can relate to as the main lead of the story

Or an entirely new long form story works too. Lots of characters across both the MCU and DC. Out of curiosity have you ever considered writing a long form story similar to that choose your bad end story type deal? Instead of a dude with a harem, maybe someone like Wonder Woman fucking her way through the male heroes and villains type of deal?

2022-11-06 18:07:09 +0000 UTCI appreciate the feedback and blunt honesty. The thing about the HP SI with the Fem!Harry was that was a commission heh, so I don't control that. Commissioner got tired of it and moved on, basically. But I have been trying to do more plot heavy stuff in the past year or two on Patreon as well.

Still I miss the more plot heavy stuff you've written. I really loved your HP SI with the bicorn dude and fem!Harry? Great story, good balance in terms of lewd/plot ratio, still sad that one died. Admittedly the last bit with the whole mind maze/bicorn-ification was getting a little out there, but it was still pretty damn interesting!
