Vibe Check: The Successor

If you missed it last week, potentially because you're only on my Patreon for the anime fics, I've decided to do Vibe Checks for all eight of my Patreon Exclusive stories in the same vein as the Vibe Check I did for The Sleeping Dragon around 6 or so months ago.
As far as The Successor is concerned, as my newest Patreon Exclusive, I would assume it's still something well-liked by my readers. However, I could be wrong about that, and if I am I want to know now before we get too much deeper into it.
If it did turn out you guys wanted a different My Hero Academia fic instead of The Successor, I would probably go with something like a post-canon fic where Izuku is the Number One Pro Hero and also the most eligible bachelor in all of Japan... with all the smutty shenanigans that would ultimately entail.
That's just one idea though, I can't say for sure it's what I would go with if I did receive feedback to end The Successor.
That said, that's what this post is all about, your guys' feedback. Let me know what you think about The Successor so far and whether it should continue or not.

I agree, while I donβt mind Midoriya having a cunning side I still want his canon personality, plus I hate the idea of AFO being Midoriya dad.

2022-11-13 16:46:25 +0000 UTCI love this series, My Hero is one of my favorite series, and I think it's got some of the ladies and characters in general. Anyway something that I've realized. At some point the groups of girls Deku is banging are gonna find out about each other. Like Nana is fine with whatever, Mirko and Yu are basically subs and total freaks, but Momo might find out about the other classmates he's fooled around with and that might be issue for her. Momo is totally smitten and probably thinks of herself as his girlfriend, and probably isn't too keen on the idea of him cheating on her. That's gonna be a very interesting moment in the series and I just hope we can manipulate her into being fine with Deku fucking anyone and everyone he wants. Also doing that would probably bag Yor π€£

2022-11-13 15:59:11 +0000 UTCThat's a fair hang-up, though I imagine the reason lots of other people like this story is because of the exact opposite, ie they enjoy a scheming manipulative Izuku a bit more.

2022-11-13 15:50:03 +0000 UTCI'm torn. 'cause on the one hand, the premise of the thing is kind of a hang-up for me personally? I like canon!Izuku being such a fluffy cinnamon bun, and his manipulative side in this story isn't my jam. But on the other hand, there *are* some parts of it I do like, even if I skip some chapters... and it *is* pretty early to scratch. I'll tentatively vote for Wrap for now, if only because it seems unlikely to win anyway.
