Snow, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Added 2018-08-09 20:49:40 +0000 UTCFor a little variety, here is a film image from a very dark and snowy day in the mountains near Santa Fe many years ago. This was a long exposure, perhaps 1 or 2 seconds, and the color temperature was very much like it appears here as I recall. The camera was a Mamiya 7 medium format rangefinder (which I had a dickens of a time focusing well), and the film was Fuji Velvia. Velvia was a gorgeous film in those days, with a very slow ISO - practically only about 50. Velvia is back on the market, but it is a higher speed film so is indubitably notably different from the old Velvia. Sadly, I have very few nudes shot on Velvia, but I have a stash that I plan on digging out. It's been refrigerated, so hopefully there is still some good in it.
