Prior to 2008 or so, we worked only with ordinary women as models. There was no travel model industry, and agency-represented models were both too expensive and generally too glamourous for our work. We simply photographed women we met in the course of living our lives. We had a little book of our photos with us at all times that we could share with prospects to prove that we were 'for real'. This beautiful woman was the manager of a sushi restaurant we frequented. This building, which was a maze of rooms, some of which lacked roofs, was an abandoned early 20th century ice house.
