Standing for America
Added 2017-08-14 21:28:01 +0000 UTCWe didn’t post here yesterday. The truth is, we are incredibly disheartened by the hatred and the evil that is bubbling up in America. The events in Virginia are beyond disturbing. And apparently they are at least tacitly condoned by our current administration. We stand for tolerance, peace, understanding, cooperation and civility. We might not agree with you ideologically, but if you share the belief that these qualities are important, then we have some common ground. If you believe that divisiveness, hate-speak, hate-actions, prejudice, and bigotry are appropriate, then we have little common ground.
America is in crisis. Our environment, our water and air, our public lands, our rivers, streams and coastlines, our native non-human species, the very fabric of our society, are all under siege. We don’t want to make our Patreon a political platform, but we are socially and culturally conscious and sensitive people, and we believe that we have a genuine obligation to speak out against the threats facing our country.
We must not be timid, or we will be overrun as we stand idly by. Please join the resistance. Let sanity prevail.

Love is the answer!! Those who lost their lives did it through love and showing that to those in crisis. It's disheartening and I definitely meditate daily for a solution to bring togetherness and separate this nation from hate. America unfortunately was founded and built on hate, racism, sexism and the list goes on...but the progression we've made gives hope for a bright future
