An Old Sofa and a Lovely Woman

This antique sofa was loaned to us, mostly because the owner had given it to someone that did not have room in their house for it. That person loaned it to us and we had it for about a year. We kept it in our studio barn and made photographs on it a few time. It s a pretty remarkable piece of furniture, covered in silvery, moss green velvet. It did have one distinguishing feature, a huge rip on the seat right under this woman's torso. Easily concealed by the blanket, it never created a problem for us. Wish we still had it. It looks huge in this photo. Actually it was pretty big, but this is also a very small woman.
