Print Sale vs Auction?
Added 2017-10-19 17:51:54 +0000 UTCOur last couple of print sales have been in the 'make us an offer' format. Today's print sale is auction format, with us providing an opening bid. Two questions: 1) do you prefer the 'make us an offer' format, or the auction format? 2) And if auction, do you think that any bids should be kept in the open, or would it be ok if bids were accepted via message? This obviously would require you to be ok with an 'honor system' when it comes to bidding, since the bids wouldn't be visible. We are fine with having the bids out in the open, but perhaps not everyone wants to reveal their collecting habits or how much they pay for their prints. Any feedback would be helpful.
And we have an opening bid on our first auction print!
