Added 2018-03-05 01:07:46 +0000 UTCLoyal patrons, we need your help…
A new and interesting, but also puzzling, situation has presented itself tonight, and we would really like to have your thoughts about it (and we hope you will feel free to share, either openly or by dm). Many of you have been patrons for several months now, and we feel like we have built a small but very nice community here. We care very much about your experience and we want it to be as fair to each of you as possible. Your loyalty matters to us.
It used to be that Patreon did not support the posting of multiple images in a post. When that was the case, we used to put images on Dropbox or Pixieset and provide a password to the various tiers that were entitled to the images. Since Patreon began supporting multiple images in a post, we have been simply posting the image sets inline and posting them to the appropriate tiers. We now realize there might be a flaw in that system.
We welcomed back a patron today that has been a patron for a couple of months in the past. He would like to have access to everything available to the higher tier to which he has now pledged, including downloading images, including during the time when he was not a patron. This seems unfair to those of you that have been pledging faithfully for several months now.
So the problem has presented itself, but we would like some suggestions regarding a solution. Here are some questions for you:
a) Do you prefer images being posted inline in a Patreon post rather than having to click a link to go to an outside platform such as Dropbox or Pixieset?
b) Would you be satisfied if we continued to do it this way, even if new patrons have access to the current and older work posted during the time you have been pledging?
c) Does it bother you that someone can pledge to your level today and have access to all the work that you viewed over the few months that you have been pledging without having been a patron during that time?
d) Would you be comfortable clicking an outside password protected link to view the image sets for your tier each month? It would be a little more work for you and for us, but we’ll do it if it is a better and fairer system.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated and will be considered. We truly want you all to have the best possible experience here, and we want the system to be as fair as possible for all concerned, with a special consideration for those of you that have been loyal for many months now.
Thank you for reading and thank you for your thoughts! Again, you can reply to this message in the open, or send us a Patreon message or an email. Good tidings...

Thanks for your comments, Chad. Our goal is to please everyone with the Photosensualis Patreon experience. That said, everyone has different hopes and expectations and it surely is not possible to satisfy everyone 100%. You suggest that our postings ‘lack content’. Not sure exactly what you mean by this, but our postings reflect our work. We make fine art nude still photography. The images ARE the content. Other than posting more of it, there is no other content that we can provide, unfettered or not. By our count, we have posted in the neighborhood of 700 images over the last 14 months. This total does not include the images that we have provided to patrons that are entitled to additional image sets each month (which includes you). We post an image virtually every day, and we post minisets comprising 15-20 additional images every weekend. That is about 100 images per month available to your tier. Several patrons also take advantage of the offers of monthly archival prints and/or Polaroids and the really low starting bids we place on our auction prints, which are traditional gelatin silver darkroom prints. We appreciate your patronage, and we put a lot of effort into keeping a steady stream of quality images headed your way. We respect your opinion if what we offer is not quite right for you.

2018-03-05 13:20:33 +0000 UTCI am not very commercial about this question. I love your work and it is fast and easy for me to access, so I come to it whenever you post. I do not mind if more people get to see your work no matter when or how you deliver it. On the other hand, I am bipolar on the Dropbox thing. Another Patreon that I sponsor majorly does do the Dropbox thing and I love access to the old work of the past, but I really go to visit it because it is so hard to track down a password that someone else generates. I do not mind others having the opportunity to go to Dropbox. In fact, I would enjoy being able to go to Dropbox like once a month, but I would hate to lose your daily posts and I would find it troublesome if I always had to go to Dropbox instead.

2018-03-05 10:36:02 +0000 UTCI just feel like in general and someone supporting you it is hard to continue simply as your postings lack much content. Id upgrade from the 50 to 100 if there was much more unfettered content. It feels dribbled some. I hope this isnt offensive. I know your post was asking if the douche that pays then quits then pays should gwt everything by gaming you no he shouldnt. I do think set a threshold. Want more content pay the 100 for 6 straight months and we give you crazy content...like a super VIP..Id do it anyway. Peace

2018-03-05 09:16:13 +0000 UTCa) Given a choice, and provided it is good for you, I prefer images being posted inline in a Patreon post. b) Yes, that is not an issue for me if a new patron has access to older posts c) No, that would not bother me at all d) Only if it was better for you
