I'm honestly so impressed, and although they called it one step in the right direction for her, it was honestly a huge one. When you have that level of anxiety I think overcoming it for the first few is a lot lot harder than overcoming it after you've had some practice. It becomes exponentially easier with more time and practice overcoming the fear and not letting it rule your choices imo.
Also, Nijika's sister lowkey so much farther ahead in figuring out Hitori is Guitar hero which is wild to me since these girls literally only listen to Hitori play guitar pls 😭
I'm also excited to see the new vocalist hint come to life! She seems so adorable!!!!

jesus christ this show is like uncannily accurate to local band living, especially constantly being broke cuz we waste our money (it's usually energy drinks and equipment we don't actually need) and being allergic to getting real jobs. Ticket quotas suck but they're the one thing i got good at back in the day ONE exception, why was that band talking for so long BEFORE the first song??? YOU DON'T DO THAT TILL THE 3RD SONG, even if your audience already knows you it comes off pretentious and prevents the crowd from getting into it as much. literally just say the band name, optionally introduce the 1st song, play it, ask how everyone's doing, pretend they responded, go straight into the 2nd song, THEN if they're starting to feel it, you can talk. even then, you're better off having an outlier 3rd song to re-grab their attention before ya go on a spiel. AND EVEN THEN, that slot is better for PUMPING UP THE CROWD, save the talk about upcoming shows and your dog's lasik eye surgery for the 2nd to last song when you know they're more tired and could use a break. good lord this ended up being way longer than i meant it to be sorry i used to research this a lot for my old band they also sound exactly like Asian Kung Fu Generation with an even less charismatic singer (this is meant in good humor, i love Asian Kung Fu Generation)
