I appreciate so much how you didn't immediately label Reiner and Mr B as bad guys here. I've said this before but this series is not black and white (though how ironic that the manga is colored black and white). Like you said, it shouldn't be ignored what they have done but there are reasons behind their actions and motivations and it's only right we find out what those are first before passing judgement.

I wish they re-did the colossal from scratch, maybe even got rid of all of the other CG as well. I'm pretty sure that was due to time constraints. Maybe they'll do a remastered ultimate edition of all the seasons when it's entirely done. I never like CG in anime..

You pick up on the smallest of things - just like Mikasa failing to kill both Reiner and Bertholdt. We all know fully well that she's "worth 100 soldiers" so would have no trouble carving them up. The fact that she failed to do it and you picked up on it being her hesitating is just one of the reasons why it's so great watching your reactions.

Good thing that you watched the Blu-ray version since this episode had the biggest mistake when it aired on TV. When Reiner pushes Mikasa off the wall, the arm he lost a few seconds earlier is magically back on him. You only see it for a second but I'm glad they fixed it. In the scene where Eren places his hand on Reiner's shoulder and tells him he's just tired and to come with him (back to Trost with the group), I actually think Eren knew deep down who they really were but he tried to diffuse the situation to be able to lead them underground just like Hange ordered. It could be that he didn't really believe it though, but I like to think he learned his lesson a little more from the day prior with Annie (showing how he didn't hesitate to transform as much when he saw Reiner/Bert transform compared to when Annie transformed).

WOAH YA!! Least when I expect it again.
