Yep I think it's safe to say that Death Note has won the poll, it has quite the lead on FMAB. As of this point the plan is still to start it immediately after AoT 3x12, I should have a solid three months of Death Note vids before AoT comes back (I plan on being caught up with AoT before December is out) I think I should be able to handle it, AoT will become a weekly show for the channel when it comes back. I certainly want to attempt it, otherwise my goals for the channel will just stagnant.

So... i think most people already forgot but i didn't. The poll. Death Note won, right? Are you going to watch it after you caught up to Attack on Titan season 3 episode 12 or after season 3 part 2? If it's the first option, do you think you can handle 2 animes at the same time AND a few more live action tv shows (don't know how many exactly). Because right now you seem to be at your limits, adding another show could hurt your upload schedule even more. Oof sorry for that long comment

its not much that he was easily swayed really,the fact remains that everything he believed so far,that he could atone for everything and that he was special was crushed by Rod reiss and his faher's memories.It was more of a way Historia used to get him out of that mood.

Your reaction when they revealed that Eren can't tap into the full power of the founding titan was( dare I say) cute LOL. It was such a visible deflation/slump its got me grinning😁 just thinking about it. Also of course Isayama wasn't gonna make it that easy. Hes such a great writer and boy oh boy Historia please give Eren a few more hits. Actually I loved the approach to both their traumas . Eren becomes the weeping damsel(he's sort of the damsel alot actually) and Historia the angry hero. Of course they were separate traumas in scale but still enjoy that bit with Historia getting pissed off at Eren for being so easily swayed and quick to give up. Remains one of fave moments.😄

I love how well Eren and Historia are parralleled in this arc. Eren has always been someone confident of his goals and motivations and was always bold and brash about the decisions he made. Historia has always been someone who felt her destiny was bound by her family and the burden her families history placed on her even made her want to die (as long as it was in a way that was noble). In this episode they literally switch personalities because of the crazy information they got in that cavern.

Amazing reaction as always,Eren's speech in this episode always get me so emotional.The line ''I...shouldn't have happened'' is just too impactful. About Rod, i think he's one of the most hated antagonist in this series really,but for some reason i can only pity him,for spending his life trying to convice his father to kill all the titans,failing and having his brother and then later on his own daughter do the same thing as his father...he just lost hope per say and instead became a ''praying man''.

If you think about FilmBuff, the reason why the titan that ate eren in episode 5 didn't turn back into a human and take the shifter power within Eren is because he swallowed him whole rather than chewing! kinda funny haha

One thing you should keep in mind when thinking about the stuff Rod Reiss said, especially when it comes to how whenever someone inherits the memories of the world, they all decide that the Titans need to stay, is that Rod had pretty much no reason to lie. Keep in mind that Historia would inherit her predecessors memories once she ate Eren, so if Rod lied, Historia would learn the truth once she ate Eren anyway, so there would be no point in Rod lying to her. So personally, I think it's best to presume Rod was telling the truth unless given evidence otherwise. Besides, I think presuming Rod is telling the truth makes the show more interesting anyway.

Whew, Im's reactions always seem to remind me about how great these episodes are. The anime adaptation of this arc is fantastic.
