It's kinda hard to write a sound effect for a door closing out of frame to be fair, slam's the only one that pops in my mind personally (edit : nevermind, I see a ga-chik on the top left of my link that was used for when he opened the door lmao).

Just letting you know Levi was angry/upset at Erwin for his decision, I think the manga betrayed this a more with Levi basically slamming the door behind him, which the anime unfortunately didn't include.

Just a heads up in case, there's some ridiculous controversy going around surrounding AoT. It's related to a certain plot point and major spoiler. People with little to no knowledge of the story have done stuff like this ever since it happened in the manga, it's just that it's getting a minor resurgence now for some reason. Just be on the safe side Im if you're ever looking on Twitter, that's where most of it is going on. I don't know the kinds of content you look at, just wanted to warn you.

But its unfortunate that its in Shonen Jump, its getting more evident with every chapter. They can't go to wild ...

Nice to see The Promised Neverland on your list of anime that interest you. Really good choice, i started reading the manga, and so far it's keeping me on the edge of my seat almost every chapter, much like Attack on Titan does with plot twists and mysteries.

I'm afraid we gotta dump it in the pile with the other 6 AoT videos and 2 Doctor Who videos he's still gotta release, unless it's prioritized over the rest.

Also love how Erwin's voice kinda breaks on the 2nd yell, you can feel the intensity.

Honestly it doesn't seem as if we're gonna get something from Funimation and co. At this point I recommend just watching a subbed version once/twice to understand what's being said and watch the 1080p a million times to analyze it.

Your analysis is amazing. As someone who hasn't read the manga and has been avoiding spoilers, it's nice to watch your analysis to sorta get a "sneak peak" at what's to come without -actually- knowing what happens next. One thing I disagree with in your analysis is the identity of the burnt body. Personally, I think it's Armin for three reasons. Number 1, look at how horrified Eren is but especially Mikasa. Mikasa even said earlier that she only has so much room in her heart to care for people. The only two people she truly cares about right now are Eren and Armin. If somebody else was burnt, I'm sure she'd be sad but not utterly horrified. Also, you mentioned that you think the body belong to a girl. Number two, notice that Armin doesn't have a super "manly" body type. He's short, and small, and historically he's been used to pretend to be Historia. Number three, in the season 3 finale, there were, as you said, "death flags" for Armin. That's my theory at least. I just hope my badass boy Erwin is okay!

The second link's good though since it has subtitles but with less visual obstruction than your first link and doesn't have the spoilerish translated voice actor list at the end. The only video that has top notch video quality is the original no subtitles Pony Canyon one (my first link above). That one and your second link is all he needs.

I was planning on watching the subbed version and then the Raw version right after, to really take in the detail without the subtitles. Is the official subbed version not going to drop ? and would that be through Funimation ?

While it has no subtitles, maybe you can watch that raw first and then watch the 720p subbed version (not official but the subs are good) after to see what they were saying (or vice versa). The manga started in 2009, and I imagine a fair amount of people probably jumped ship on the manga to watch the anime instead when it came out in 2013, and stopped reading the manga. So for those people, they've now been waiting almost 10 years to find out what's in the basement. Mad.

Man, it's weird that you've seen all the episodes. All you need to do now is watch that recent trailer and you'll be 100% caught up. Plus, of course, if you ever find yourself missing the show, you have those OVA's to watch whenever you want as well. Either way, happy that you're on a level playing field with the other non-manga readers now.

Now that I've checked this. That was super entertaining. That must've taken some editing obviously but damn. That was really good and awesome to watch. Honestly you should just go for the ep discussions the same way. Dunno if you somewhy pushed for this more but if you did that in 2 days I wouldn't mind "less" edited stuff for whole episodes if thats easier. Congrats on being caught up! It feels nice to have you here now. And if we look past the credit scene for a moment, this entire episode was a callback to the beginning of the series. We have the EMA talk, Eren and Jean fighting, 104th being funny together and the SC departing for another expedition with the same soundtrack. It would be such a wholesome episode, if it weren't for that sequence at the end, lol. The frame by frame was definitely enjoyable and I loved that you recognized where some of the older shots came from. The last 24 hours have spoiled us with AoT content and I'm looking forward to your trailer reaction and analysis.

Just finished! Amazing reaction as always and theorizing! No matter how many times I watch ep 12 it still gets to me how much has changed in so little all time. On top of that we have such a great view into the relationship between Erwin and Levi and its evolvement when we realize how it began. Also the view of the Survey Corps in the eyes of the people, specifically the people of Trost who were saw/experienced first hand the titans and the corruption of the MP. Also animation is fantastic! All I can say is sunlight with floating specks of dust!!!! Thanks for the upload glad you've caught up!😄

Trailer reaction would be amazing ! Ive watched both non sub and sub trailer. I liked the non subbed more because you can see all the detail in the animation and it leaves you guessing more. With subs a lot of the trailer is covered. The text was too big.. didnt like it. Amazing reaction !! Hyped for the trailer reaction if theres one 🙌
