I really wish we had 10 episodes this season, ut was so needed. Especially so our main character Jon snow doesnt seem like a bystander. . However I never once thought Jamie was coming to kill Cersei or was done for her. He said himself, he would do everything he has done for his family all over again and wouldnt apologise. He made a promise to defend the north, he kept that and couldnt just let his lover and twin sister die. I think it was fitting they died together. Jamie never stopped loving her, just like he never stopped loving Tyrion after he killed their father. Family is everything to him.

A few services like Funimation and Crunchyroll have announced it's going to air on Sundays still, but a few hours later.

They criminally underutilized Lena Headey in this final season (in my opinion, the best actor on the show)

When the episode opened with Varys I immediately knew he was dead. Sad to see him go, probably my favorite minor character.
I like what they did with Arya and Sandor. They're my top two favorites in this show and to see their arc come to a close in this fashion is something that I'm satisfied with.
I can't really say the same about Jaime and Cersei. Cersei has basically done nothing this season and competes with Jon as to who is the bigger bystander and I really didn't like what they did with Jaime in this episode. Especially that line where he says that he doesn't care about the innocents. Like, WHAT?? Even if it wasn't a serious comment, it just soured how he has been portrayed in the last 8 seasons.
There's a lot of mixed feelings for this one and I guess that's kinda been the theme of the whole season.

Cersei being in denial is one of the few things I liked about this episode.

I watched parts of it even though I said I wouldn't. (Why am I doing this to myself!?) The exact moment Jaime said he doesn't care about the innocent and I realized where they were going with his character...I was distraught. I could see how much it upset you as well. My face looked much like yours, except that it didn't go away anymore at alI. I just couldn't focus on the episode anymore. It felt like someone cut off my emotional attachment to the story and the show in that moment. And I knew I was done with it. It's heartbreaking. I felt like I just got stabbed in the back.
Again...maybe it sounds like I only care about Jaime. (heard that quite often)😪😪 That's not true at all, there are a lot of other things that bother me or things I care about. It's just what I care about the most. And if you destroy that, I'm just...done.
