Final Patreon Update
Added 2019-07-29 12:18:40 +0000 UTCHello everyone, as I mentioned in the last update, July was to be the last month Patreon would be active. So here we are, I will be signing off from Patreon in the next few days, It will be going on hold indefinitely. It basically freezes things as the are, until I return.
Yes, I was not able to have the YT edited versions up in July, I got close but not quite finished with them. I will not step away before uploading those videos, gunning for an early August release. I'm not sure if it will let me post them here while it's on hold, but I will give it a shot, so we can have a Patron only chat section for those.
I think it has been quite clear that I have been trying to do YouTube content while I was in no position to actually do it properly. While I have taken a "take it or leave it" stance for some time now (because I simply had to) I do realize that there is perhaps a responsibility to not leave people hanging when they have become attached to my content. Which is why I will never again put myself in a position where I can't finish what I started, It happened with Vikings and still regret it. I will only return when I know I'm in a good position to do YouTube content consistently, while I can joke about being slow, no one actually wants that reputation.
I will never give up on this, I enjoy it too much and there is just so much potential there. I can confirm that I will not be returning in 2019, I hope to return sometime in 2020. When I do return, I will pick up where I left off with Shingeki, Doctor Who and Black Sails, and one or two new series (Death Note being at the top of the list, as the poll winner) and get the gaming content going as well. I will stop doing full length and edited versions separately, simply need to post those together.
A huge thank you to you guys, A lot of you have made the choice to stick around as Patrons, even when there wasn't patron exclusive content, that is just incredible. I am blown away with the support I have, and that my content means so much to you guys.

So It's goodbye for now, but I will be active on Twitter, we can always chat there while I'm away from YouTube :)

Yes, it is not paused at the moment. There is a possibility that there might me new content in December. If there isn’t, I’ll just pause it again before the end of the month :)

2019-09-24 00:47:03 +0000 UTCWhat ? I assure you that you were not charged. The monthly cycle is on hold indefinitely, no pre-existing Patrons were charged for August. There’s a Patreon generated message stating it’s on hold, it’s right at the top of the page. New people are still able to gain access to pre-existing full length videos because it’s a charge up front system. EDIT - By August I meant the charge cycle which would happen on September 1st, As Patreon charges people at the end of the month. So The August cycle would be on September 1st, and since it's now paused indefinitely, no one was charged for that.

I can speak for myself that I will be here when you return, but also have no doubt that when you come back others will stay. Your passion and honesty throughout the reactions and conversations is what drew so many of us towards you in the first place! Keep being awesome man. But I have always enjoyed the raw honesty of your reactions, and the level of detail you put in. Of all the reaction channels I watch, no one matches you for skill in editing. Your edited versions of the various episodes still contain the full narrative thread of the show in question. No one else does that. Also while there are some reaction channels out there where people are CLEARLY faking it, and others where the reactors don't know what they're talking about (making the post episode discussions painful to watch), yours has been a cut above. I will await your return. A man with your vision and dedication should be able to do this on a full time basis. Don't let others, family members, friends, anyone take you away from what you were meant to do. We'll all see you when you come back.

With the break you won't have to stress about getting the next video up and you'll get a break from the millions of YT comments asking when the next upload is. I can imagine that's not what anyone wants to see in their comment section and this way you'll be back when you can and everyone will be satisfied. We'll be waiting until then, brother!
