I know this is late, but Naomi in the opening is a reference to the painting "Pieta" - a painting of the Virgin Mary holding Jesus

She was very carefull with the fake ID, with how light was acting, yet light manipulated her feelings to make her slip up. This is also the error that Light commits on this episode, he clearly knows that L expects an answer or reaction, yet he does it anyway out of his ego, the smartest people fuck up when feelings are in the way. You can go back to episode 2, wuch starts the entire series, Light reacted to Lind L. Taylor not because it was smart, but because he was offended at his remarks of calling him evil.

Please watch just that scene in dub, and try your best to imagine you are watching it for the first time. You'll know EXACTLY which part is the fame. :)
