I would say season 1 is still worth watching as it can kinda be considered its own thing if you pretend season 2 never happened. I would compare it to "The Last of Us" as in the first game was incredible, and the sequel being garbage doesnt ruin the first game

I've seen anime-only watchers start getting what the manga readers were saying after a few episodes. While you won't be able to compare it to manga, you can still compare it to Season 1, and ... yeah. Season 2 is subpar to say the least.

I'd skip this one.. Like most people will tell you, season 1 is a good watch, and can actually work as a standalone. From there on out, i would recommend reading the manga. Not sure if you need an anime to replace DN, but if not, then consider The last airbender. I know it will be heavily requested, and an easy poll winner. Hope you're all good :)

I enjoy your reviews and reactions because you always have the full picture in mind allowing a proper deconstruction of the whole show. That's why I think your style of review and reaction wouldn't work for season 2 because there's not much to deconstruct. But i think season 1 is really good and self contained enough to be a good fit for the channel so id say only keep season 1 on the poll. The only downside is there will not be a satisfactory follow-up unless you read the manga

I think another Show shoud be on the poll where you can watch all Episodes of the Show instead of an Show where you are basically just watching half of it since S2 is veery bad

As someone who has only watched Season 1 (season 2 is not yet on any sites I am subscribed to), I would like to know from anime-only watchers if season 2 is really that bad when you have nothing to compare it against. Also, I feel that season 1 is a must for anime lovers. Having said that, you can always watch it on your own time as was already suggested...

As a fan of the manga i wasn't too impressed with the adaptation of the first season. There were a few changes i didn't like but it was still a decent show because of the source material. Though with how the second season turned out it's definitely not worth a spot on a poll. Funnily enough another show Psycho Pass, which had a great first season but a meh second i think would be excellent for a you. It's first season stands alone and has great themes and an awesome world for discussion. It's phenomenal and definitely deserves a spot on a poll.

S1 is worth it. The cinematography, the direction, the expressions, the tension that builds up... it's really, really good. After that, just read the manga on your own if you want, skip S2, it's for the better. S1 is a standalone season anyway.

A brilliant show for discussion would be the Monogatari series. It's a bit niche to people who haven't watched a lot of anime but it explores a lot of different themes, messages and every character is great. Very dialogue focused but i think you'd like that.

I'd rather see you put another show on the poll. There's a lot of amazing shows on your list. I personally consider Made in Abyss, Mob Psycho and A Place Further than the Universe as masterpieces so I hope you watch/react to them someday!

Season 1 is definitely worth reacting to but I wouldn’t touch season 2 at all. If continuing through the manga isn’t something you’d want to do I don’t see that as a problem because the first season can kind of stand alone. If you do end up replacing it consider devilman crybaby, I know it’s not on the list but a few have mentioned it recently, 10 episodes similar length to tpn. Even if it’s in the far future I’d love to see your thoughts on this one.

I think it’s best to replace it. First season is worth watching, second is abysmal. It would make for a pretty uneven reaction series regardless of whether you react to S2 or not. I think it’s better to just put something else on the poll.

it's a difficult one. I really loved season 1, and started reading the manga after, cause I had to know what happened next. Then season 2 came... oh boy, especially as a manga reader it's rough.

First season is definitely worth watching, but second season..... I would recommend reading the manga instead. Btw, personal recommendation, please check out Vivy. It's made my WIT studio. Amazing animation, storyline, and music.

This is probably gonna fall on deaf ears because the show I'm about to recommend is unpopular, but I think Odd Taxi would be a really good anime for you to watch. It's airing currently and it will have 13 episodes. It's about a taxi driver who gets involved in one mess after another and seemingly everything is connected by small details. Every episode you get some clarity on certain things, but that in turn raises even more questions. I think you could have good post-episode discussions for this anime.

Absolutely not. There are so many better shows out there. Season 1 is great, sure, but I'd recommend watching it later and finding a different show to replace Death Note first. Still gonna put my vote in for Mob Psycho or Madoka Magica.

As everyone else has said, season one is great! I, like basically everyone else on the planet, was very disappointed with season two and didn’t even finish it. Season one is amazing though, and I think it works as a standalone season good enough.

Good thing about season 1 is that it can be watched as a stand alone with an open ending, so I do still recommend it. What they did with season 2 is skip right to the ending of the manga, keeping only a handful of key moments without any of the build up. Imagine if after season 1 of AoT the next season they were already in Marley, then try to fit the rest of the story into 11 episodes. Not even worth watching in your own time tbh, it will spoil major reveals from the manga if you ever decide to read it and it will be a sub par experience. But season 1 alone is definitely worth watching, I would love to see you react to it still. Edit: typo

Don't get me wrong, season 1 is great and I really enjoyed watching it but I think for now maybe keep it on your radar as something to come back to in the future. I think having it on the poll takes a spot away from another great series with a more complete story. I also don't think it would win in a poll either, even if you only plan on reacting to season 1. (If you do decide to watch season 1 I believe that it can be watched as standalone, it leaves room to kind of think of your own ending or read the manga)

The second season for many is unwatchable and a total nightmare of an adaptation. The first season however I do firmly believe can be watched as a stand-alone. Sure you would have questions of what could happen afterwards but the first season’s arc is brilliant enough for you to react to and not need to continue. It’s up to you I guess but personally I think you have enough choice out there for shorter shows that TPN doesn’t really need to be on the poll.

First season of Promised Neverland is one of my favourite anime. Season 1's ending is open ended enough for a sequel, but still pretty conclusive. I think you should have it on the poll. I'd personally love to see your reaction to season 1.

hmm I think I should leave that up to people who wanted it when only the first season was aired, but I would say that you should put it since it was supposed to be there, if people changed their opinion then they just won't vote for it (unless there's a limit on the option numbers and you already have something else in mind).

You can react to the first season without a problem but I wouldn't recommend watching the second season. Afterwards you should check out the manga from start to finish cause they skipped 80 chapter in the second season from one episode to the next. Some arcs of 20-30 chapters are packed into one episode. I cannot even describe how terrible that season was. It's insane. The second season is just not worth watching. I know that there are people that did enjoy S2 as an anime only but without a doubt of all people that will be definitely not you. If you really want a good experience react to the first season and then switch to the manga. That would be your best option. Though I don't think it will win a poll now with the second season.

if you were really interested in the series I would say watch season 1 and then read the manga. season 2 is a dumpster fire that skips like 3 arcs and cuts out some of the best characters to jump to the end. that being said, i as well as most people that i have seen are not fans of how the manga ends, so unless you are really really interested in the series it might not even be worth it.
