That was an incredible special, the acting, the characterization, the shots, the music, the practical effects everything. The captain's character had so much presence it really made The Doctor feel like he was a companion this time, despite his superb presence as well. Multiple climaxes in emotion and we see a new side of The Doctor as well as further world building on the timelords and the fixed points. I loved the music track when the captain said she was going to escape it sounded like it would fit right into the original star wars trilogy. Great reaction as always.
