I do think Beast Below and this episode are a little less interesting in terms of the plot and the villains than Eleventh Hour but they do a good job of establishing some key characteristics of this Doctor and his relationship to Amy that are important going forward. Next episode is where I think this series really starts picking up, I think you'll very much enjoy it.
