2022-03-25 17:54:04 +0000 UTCHe mentioned that he doesn't know what the full design of eren's founding titan looks like, and there's a shot in the opening with it, unless he cares really about it he shouldn't watch it, but that's the only thing that appears in the opening and hasn't yet appeared in the anime.

2022-03-25 09:00:54 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite things about Aot is how seemingly extremely minor characters can become very important and get these great moments. Like, who would have thought in season one that this military instructor guy would ever become relevant again? And then in season three we get the amazing bystander episode and suddenly Shadis is an incredible character and you know it's gonna be good every time he appears on screen. Freckled Ymir and Floch are similar. Who thought they would be so important when they were introduced? Ymir had like 5 lines in season one. Also btw, when are you going to watch the opening? It should be fine now.

2022-03-25 09:00:09 +0000 UTCAbsolutely fun episode with so much fan service! Gabi and Shadis stole the spotlight for me, especially with that conversation between Gabi, Kaya and Niccolo. All of them learned from Mr. Braus, such a hopeful scene. This episode in general just really elevated the chapter that it adapted for me, thanks to the soundtrack and the atmosphere that color palette created. I just love it when shows aren't afraid to use lots of color.

Also yeah, I want to be careful about linking anything from the manga, but the manga version of this episode has some amazing panels of a Saul Goodman titan. They draw him in the anime too but more ambiguously. Maybe a mod or someone can get the manga panels for that, it’s amazing. I really really hope better call Saul makes the cut for the next live action show on the channel!
