Glad you love Rory - I love his calming balance to the trio! And I'm with you, I was sooo relieved when they resolved their attempts at a love triangle in this ep. After so many romantic companions, I really wanted a normal best buddies companion like Donna. Loving your reactions!

2022-04-19 08:18:52 +0000 UTCI will admit I'm not the biggest fan of Rory, but that's because I adore the pure chaotic energy that the Doctor and Amy have together, and I feel like Rory brings them down to Earth a bit too much. Like (and I'm picking an exemple from an episode you've seen) when they're being super excited about the idea of vampires in Venice, and Rory isn't into it at all. That doesn't make him a bad character at all, and I certainly don't hate him, but one of my favourite parts of Amy's run as a companion is that chaotic energy. Like the Angels episodes with the Doctor, Amy and River bouncing off of each other? Pure chaos, and I love it!
