I think WIT did an amazing job with this season, but when you really compare this with their best, you can see just a little bit of the strain they felt producing this and shingeki 3p2 at the same time, although shingeki felt more of the brunt of production issues for sure

2022-04-28 04:49:16 +0000 UTCEvery scene with Thorkell is truly a blessing lol, he doesn’t need to be as complex as the others to leave a lasting impression. His comedic relief moments add so much more weight to the story then you’d actually think. I enjoy every scene with him, very excited for the next episode. It’s funny hearing your thoughts about Chainsaw Man, I was originally gonna read the manga because of all the hype surrounding it but then the trailer dropped and now I’m questioning if I should read it or if I should wait for the anime. One of the pros about reading the manga is it truly is an amazing experience seeing the moments animated. The feeling of seeing the big 3 episodes of Shingeki S4P2 after waiting years for it was heavenly. I’ll also get to experience this with season 2 of Vinland so I’m very excited. Knowing this I wonder if it will be worth reading csm so close to the air date considering I might not get the same impact as I would if I had been following it for years like SnK or Vinland. So I think I might wait for the anime and experience it with you. Just as you said how it would be good to read the manga before the anime, since I always do this I think it’s my turn to watch the anime first for a change.
