Early Access - Dark | Reaction & Review 3x3 "Adam and Eva"

Comments

Yeah, Jonas had to escape the apocalypse at least three times. Wild, when you think about it.

Man as we get closer to the end of the series, I wish I had things I could say but it's best to just ride it out lol

I also felt a little frustrated at watching the same things unfold in this episode.

Oh when I ask how did the stranger survive the apocalypse, I meant his younger self. As Martha 2 clearly didn’t come for him.

Yes, this episode is less eventful and the slowest of this season, it`s just setting the pieces up. All hell breaks loose and the pacing and events accelerates from ep 4 onwards.

I found your Dark reactions recently when I decided to rewatch the show & now I'm all caught up w/ your Dark content. Awesome work, sir. It's funny how by the middle of S3 (or even before) a lot of us are rooting for Martha & Jonas to end up together though they are aunt-nephew lol. I don't remember how Adam survived the apocalypse... Katharina was in the cave and went to the 80s so I'm guessing after killing Martha1 Adam also went to the cave & went to the future?

I don't recognize Tannhaus' father in the Sic Mundus photo. There is a guy with sideburns, but... we'll see. The Stranger survived the apocalypse together with Magnus, Franziska and Bartosz using H.G.'s time machine to travel to 1888. We've seen that. Hanno Tauber's name is pronounced Towber (like in cow).

It's a little bit of a stretch to believe that Martha's childhood experiences would be exactly the same without Jonas in the picture. But I get the intent. I don't mind rewatching Ulrich's flirtation. They are showing things that are different, and Charlotte's reaction to being shut down is how a normal, understanding person would react, not an obsessed loon like Hannah.

I gotta say, this episode felt less packed than the usual standard of dark episodes, or at least for me from a third watch perspective. Maybe there were some episodes in season 1&2 that felt like this one but I’ve always imagined that everything accelerated since the beginning of season 3.

Thank you for drawing my attention to the role of Old Tannhaus' father. I've never connected him with the later Sic Mundus group. Although it is, as you've said, debatable, if he is really the guy in the photo, but I kind of like the idea, that he somehow got in touch with the group.
