Yes MAPPA actually claimed that CSM will have the ultimate animation. This is like their flagship project. And if I'm not wrong, they are funding it themselves. Out of all the MAPPA animes currently ongoing (jujutsu, CSM, shingeki and now Vinland Saga s2), shingeki got the shorter end of the stick because of a very tight schedule. I do hope the final part of shingeki gets the best production of the series and considering how we still haven't recieved any release date, I think they have been given quite a lot of time for the final part.
