I’m soo happy you were into the sequence of Aki’s morning routine. To me what’s soo special about animation is how it’s able to capture moments like Aki just living his day. It just doesn’t have the same effect in live action. Maybe it’s because you know how much attention and care was put into creating it. It’s like how anime has a reputation of making all food look absolutely incredible. I’m still warming up to the show at the moment but the second half of this episode really won me over. Personally I will always take a really well animated ‘slice of life’ moment over a well choreographed fight any day!
