You never forget your first regeneration. It's like that for all of us. "Regeneration" wasn't coined until the third Doctor's transformation into four. Eccleston just didn't say it because I think he was trying to make it easier on Rose and didn't want to frighten her away. He was worried she wouldn't accept him, maybe?

2018-04-24 20:01:08 +0000 UTCI loved Eccleston as the Doctor. Always loved his smile, love it on The Leftovers too. I was bawling when you started crying. Can't handle that :( This episode is so sad. I know the feeling... it felt kind of wrong seeing David Tennant at the end. When I watched it for the first time. :)
