FilmBuff you keep silent indeed during your reactions. Its a way to react to movies and I love it. As a matter if fact, if you begin to speak in live,you will miss for sure some subtitles because you have only one brain . Thus, your theory will be highly impacted by lack of information. I used to follow at least 20 AoT reactors. Take this advice as a learning and feedback from experience. Your post videos commentaries are, as they are today, a must to watch for Aot fans

All these episodes have all these moments where you get cut off by something happening on screen or dialogue from the characters so I never got to hear your thoughts (which is perfect, that's what post-episode is for). What that means though is I crave the releases of these post-ep discussion parts even more now, fuck.

This is my favorite episode in Season 1. I love everything about it, especially Levi and Erwin shine in this one for me.

There was never a moment where a scene was meant to implicate that Levi had romantic feelings for Petra. All the exposition presented along with Levi's prequel OVA implies that he just felt guilt as a leader over the deaths of the squad he hand-picked. While it is blatant that Petra adored and had feelings for Levi, there was never any scenes in the series that showed Levi had mutual feelings, just as a leader. I wish I can explain further on why Levi reacted and treated Petra the way he did but Im Sadar haven't seen the Levi OVAs yet.

A couple things I want to point out, yes Levi did in fact break his leg. The other is that the badge he gives to Dieter is actually Petra's. He took it off her body. It is very subtly implied that Levi loved her.

By the way.. The emblem that Levi gave to that scout which "belonged to Ivan".. That was actually petras, which levi had meant to keep for himself, but he decided to console that scout by giving it to him and telling him it was ivans..
