Lord Ogo concept art
Added 2021-06-12 23:40:27 +0000 UTCOgo was actually based on a giant robo crab that I created in my first webcomic called 'kappa'
Back then I was putting way more detail into my panels (to am unsustainable degree lol) and the design was more realistic and creepy.
The original was also based on a spider crab which has many long legs. 
I still kind of like that old design but there was no way I could draw that much detail in a weekly webtoon lol.
When I designed ogo I based him more on an average crab and I wanted him to have a more simple shape and a design that gave him more personality. (But most importantly I wanted him to be easier to draw)
Also Ogo's name comes from a Canadian lake monster myth called Ogopogo.
