Love the beautiful 2D animation as well, but it's kinda a good thing that more and more studios use 3D to ease their work and get more familiar with those technologies. The anime industry has not been quite optimistic for a long time. But yes, the more important thing is the time/cost they deserve.

Wish studios now were given more time with productions so we could get some beautiful stuff like this from anime more regularly.
