It might be worth looking into youtube shorts - clips of your reactions to iconic moments, etc - that might be able to market your channel to new viewers. Thing is that your content is really, REALLY good (among the best on YT imo) but unless someone is actively looking for ongoing reactions to FMAB or any other series you're watching currently, you probably won't show up on their homepage. I really do hope more people discover your channel, because we need more quality like this in the space! Great reactions, man, hope you have a blast with the rest of FMAB.

2023-02-22 04:40:44 +0000 UTCNot sure if you have considered this, and you may not be a fan of the idea, but have you thought of putting shows temporarily on the back burner when something new/interesting releases? For example, if you are watching and older anime like Monster that may not get the most views, and you can't fit a slot for a new anime season that you and many others are looking forward to, would you be opposed to putting said anime on pause, filling the slot with the new anime for the following weeks that it airs? Then start airing the shows again after it concludes? I understand it may not sound like something that would be fair to viewers that voted for certain shows for you to react to, but it might be something to consider for the growth of the channel. I also say this due to the nature of anime seasons having multiple releases around the same time, leading to missing out on something of interest if you can only choose one. Regardless, great reaction as always man and I can't wait for you to see the conclusion of FMAB!

2023-02-19 08:43:15 +0000 UTCThat probably does play a part well, but at most, it’s something like 100-150 views that get taken away fro the YT version, nothing significant. I used to make early access content unlisted on YT, but people were posting/leaking links.

Do you think part of the problem may be that you release early access on Vimeo instead of using an unlisted YouTube video that you link to the Patreon for now and make live for the non-patrons when it releases for them? Having some of the views split between two platforms may have played a role.

2023-02-18 08:37:07 +0000 UTCYou not watching the English dub almost certainly has something to do with the series not performing particularly well on YouTube, but I also think it’s due in part to the fact that this series just doesn’t have as many high intensity moments like a lot of anime does, plus it’s kind of older so the general interest isn’t particularly high anymore. But for what it’s worth, folks on Patreon seem to be enjoying it as much as the other shows. I for one can’t wait for you to get further into it, so many great moments to come

Older long running shows like monster might not as good as stuff like attack on titan or deathnote but im sure myself and a bunch of your other fans would love to see your opinion on it. Then again you should do whatever you feel like is best for the health of the show im almost always here purely for your review on episodes of everything. Im sure there are many of us like this would stick through a lot of those less popular shows. <3 I hope though things ramp up as you get near the end of this show

Sorry to hear this one hasn’t been doing great on YT maybe the timing was off, oddly enough maybe it also has to do that is not the english dub, idk.. But I hope it doesn’t discourage you and you keep enjoying this last chunk and hopefully views will pick up too
